As each pod is built in the same manner as our high-quality house builds, we’re proud to say that they’ll last a lifetime.
We provide the same 10-year structural warranty for all of our OUTROOMs as we do for house builds. If there are any problems, don’t worry, we also offer top-notch customer service for all our customers.
As long as at least 25 square meters of free space remains in your garden you won’t need planning permission for your OUTROOM. If you do, we’ll be happy to guide you through the full requirements.
There are two options for getting your OUTROOM connected; we can either provide you with connections or you can choose to use a wireless router and dual cordless phone.
Of course, each OUTROOM is built with the weather in mind with a nZEB passive structure. This structure allows the maintenance of a constant interior temperature, regardless of outside conditions, just as it does in our quality Nuhaus Ltd homes.
Of course. If you’d like we can even install an en-suite as part of the build.
Yes, we can add internal walls to section your space to suit your purpose or desire. We can also add an en-suite, wardrobe, or kitchenette storage as required.

Having been in the construction business for over 15 years, we know the ins and outs of building houses. OUTROOM is an extension of our skill and craftsmanship. Our eco-friendly pods are crafted with the utmost care and attention. Not just a garden room, we take pride in our work being of the very same standard as that of a full house.
Just fill in your requirements here on the website and a member of the team will get in touch with you to discuss your project. Before starting work, we’ll need you to ensure that the required area is clear of existing structures, shrubs or any other obstructions.
After we’ve agreed on the final design, we can start to plan the installation. This normally takes around a month. After that, we can then begin the build.
As a permanent structure, similar to that of a house and requiring stable foundations and a roof, each OUTROOM will take approximately 2 to 3 weeks to install.
If you’d like to live in or use your OUTROOM as a granny flat you’d need to acquire planning permission. Irish law states that: “The conversion of part of a dwelling to form a granny flat or separate unit is not an exempt development. Planning permission is required.”
If you’d like to do this, our in-house architectural team will be happy to guide you through the whole process.
That depends on which exterior finish you choose. Our self-coloring acrylic render finish is guaranteed for 20 years, however, you don’t necessarily need to paint your new structure once the acrylic wears off. If you decide to go with zinc or alupress finish your exterior will be guaranteed for even longer. With no maintenance, each zinc or alupress finish is guaranteed for up to 50 years. Alternatively, timber cladding, such as cedar, should be maintained every year.
Your OUTROOM is a well-made, sturdy structure that sadly cannot be moved due to its concrete foundation.
We only use A-rated, passive standard windows and doors. These come in a wide range of styles, including aluminum, timber and aluclad.
